RARE CAT BREEDS

The Thai Burmese is the archetypal rescue cat, in more ways than one. Although bred by traditional cat breeders in Thailand, there are also many living on the streets there. Some of these cats have been rescued, and in turn, they themselves are now in the process of rescuing the pedigree Burmese breed as we know it in the West, whom they are genetically related to, but who are now in desperate need of new bloodlines. We will explore their differences and similarities below.
