Why do some of us need therapy? Life is untidy. It refuses to run along neat channels. Psychotherapy offers you a place to express and articulate what is going on for you. It can help you gain clarity, put your thoughts, needs and desires in order, facilitate acceptance of your essential nature and tailor it to the way of life you want. It is entirely possible to find meaning and achieve personal growth. In life, you can play the hand you’re dealt. Or if you wish, you can reshuffle the deck. 

 

Grabbing your life decisively is not easy. Sometimes, we need to be delivered resolutely from the past to understand that only the present will help us set a clear eye on our future. We humans need a great deal to get by and a strong sense of self gives you the strength to face reality and stand tall in the storms of life. You can create meaning, purpose, and there is only one life.

 

Talking candidly and being heard - really heard - can expand self-awareness and self-knowledge like exercise expands physical energy. Talking can reveal the details, which are more important than the big picture, because we never know which detail is the key. Talking about things robs them of half their negativity – sometimes more.
